I had the opportunity to enjoy a weekend on the Norwegian Bliss in New York City. I was hesitant to go as I was a bit concerned with large cruise lines. They seemed overwhelming to me with their enormous passenger capacities, and I was uneasy about achieving that private VIP element that luxury experiences usually offer.

The Haven suites are separated from the rest of the ship by a private entrance that you can only access if you have reserved one of these suites. It is like a sanctuary on the ship that is suited for those travelers who love that level of luxurious tranquility and pampering.
The Haven part of the ship is an area that has a private lounge, restaurant, deck, and pool.
