Ellyngton’s Amazing Brunch in Denver, Colorado

I had heard that within the historic Brown Palace that the Ellyngton’s restaurant is famous for its brunch. I can understand why after having an amazing dining experience. This is truly special from the plethora of high-quality buffet choices to the decadent dessert tables. And of course, the champagne! Look to Ellyngton’s to indulge yourself by enjoying their wonderful Sunday Champagne brunch. Here is more information to entice you to go…

My champagne of choice was Moet & Chandon and of course, paired with chocolate…heaven!

Location:

The restaurant is located inside The Brown Palace Hotel and Spa. Walk through to the lobby and it is situated to the right of the entrance. Be sure to stop and admire the atrium area of the lobby. They do a nice afternoon tea as well. It is exquisite.

Décor:

The décor sings of the Gatsby era. They have done a fabulous job of maintaining the integrity of the history of The Brown Palace. It is luxuriously decorated. You feel as if you been transported back in time.

Beautiful decor! Cheers!

Menu:

The brunch is entirely buffet. However, you are able to order a specialty eggs benedict dish from your waiter. There is such a wide variety offered at the buffet that it will leave you wishing you could try it all. From the prime rib to the fresh seafood bar, there is plenty to choose from. All is excellent quality and the food is replenished often. The dessert area is very nice. They have a chocolate fountain as well as many flavorful and beautifully decorated options. The pastry chef is amazing with the offerings and the presentation. There are three price levels for the buffet depending on the champagne that you order. The highest level being the Dom Perignon (which is only one glass at a time). My husband and I choose the Moet Chandon. It was an outstanding selection and it is bottomless!

Delicious selections at the buffet!
Exquisite cheeses and fruits.
Decadent desserts!

Service:

Our server Anthony was excellent. He was friendly and attentive! What he was best at was keeping my champagne glass bottomless. Thanks, Anthony!

Final Thoughts:

Ellyngton’s is one of those experiences that you will remember. Though it is on the expensive side, it is well worth it. From prime rib, shrimp, sushi, pastries, egg dishes, and fantastic desserts, you will enjoy it all. For a distinctive occasion or just to treat yourself, this is a very special restaurant. I would especially recommend this to start your Sunday morning with romance by treating your significant other to luxury, fine dining and of course, champagne!
