I often choose to stay at Hyatt hotels because of their outstanding Regency Club Lounges. One of the reasons I initially joined the World of Hyatt program is so that I can achieve the “Globalist” level and enjoy entry into this VIP area.

Arriving at the Grand Hyatt Taipei, I was eager to check out their Regency Club area which offers space to relax and have a glass of wine plus evening hors d’oeuvres. In the morning, members can enjoy breakfast and during the day there are snacks and drinks available.

🌟 VIP access: 

On the 22nd floor, members enter with a special key. 

🌟 Breakfast: 

In the mornings, a complimentary breakfast buffet is available which includes eggs to order as well as other favorites. 

🌟 Snacks: 

Throughout the day, you can visit the lounge for various beverages and light snacks such as fruit, nuts, cookies, and pastries. I utilized the lounge for afternoon tea and to relax in a quiet space. 

🌟 Evening Appetizers:

The lounge shines in the appetizer department! These are not your typical appetizers, they could be considered dinner. The chef designed something different each night, which I loved. Special touches like these unique appetizers are what earn a place five stars. 

As all of you know, I love my bubbles and they offered a never ending complimentary supply of Chandon Napa Sparkling. A little touch of my home – California! Cheers for this!

🌟 Views:

The room was serene and spacious with plenty of seating available. My husband and I made it a point to get in early so we could find a table near a window. There are gorgeous views of the Taipei 101 building from the lounge. I enjoyed my champagne while taking in the view and soaking it all in before I returned home.

Final Thoughts

The Regency Club Lounge rounded out our wonderful experience at the hotel. It was a bonus to retreat to the lounge whenever we wanted to unwind. It’s a lovely spot full of tranquility, and truly made our stay more luxurious.

I highly recommend upgrading your stay or becoming a “World of Hyatt” member to receive points. If you are a “Globalist” level, you will receive complimentary access to the lounge.
