🌟 Location: Los Angeles, California

Champagne: Veuve Clicquot

A champagne sunset moment that was truly special was in the Port of Los Angeles, California. Celebrating from our room on the Norwegian Bliss Cruise to Mexico, we were leaving the port and beginning our journey down the California coast towards Mexico. The perfect way to begin a fabulous cruise vacation is to have a glass of champagne while admiring the sunset!

Champagne: Moët & Chandon

My husband and I were staying at the Hyatt Mission Bay Spa and Marina hotel enjoying a top floor balcony room. The sunset this night took our breath away. I was lucky enough to have ordered our bottle of champagne and it arrived just in time to enjoy this fabulous sunset!

Some of my most favorite sunsets are enjoyed while cruising on a boat. The Hornblower Cruises and Events offered this very special sunset moment with a romantic dinner cruise around the Long Beach Harbor.

A goal of mine for many years was to have a dinner at Thomas Keller’s – The French Laundry in Yountville. When I was able to achieve this very special culinary moment, it was only fitting that it be celebrated with a glass of champagne! Though you cannot see the sun setting behind the kitchen, the glow that it created seemed appropriate for an achievement of a bucket list dream.

When looking for a location to celebrate an anniversary, I knew exactly where it must happen. My husband and I love the northern California coast, and the The Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay created the very best anniversary celebration. . We had a beautiful, luxurious room with a fire pit. To celebrate, we ordered a bottle of Veuve Cliquot and cuddled by the fire. A very special romantic moment!

Writing this article, I ran across this picture of Disneyland California Adventure . I remember this moment well, as I was surprised that I could order sparkling wine in Disneyland. My selection wasn’t great, however, the color of the sparkling wine seemed fitting for Disneyland. I really enjoyed the burst of color from the setting sun!

My husband would often have to travel for business in Sacramento and we would always stay at theHyatt Regency Sacramento. Because of our status with the Hyatt hotels for our frequent stays, we would be granted access to their Regency Club lounge. There were many times after his long day at the Capitol, that we would go back to the hotel and sit with a glass on this balcony and enjoy the beautiful views of the sun setting behind the Capitol building.

Every year around Christmas time, my hubby and I love to stay at the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort and Spa. We love the beach and holiday decorations. We have stayed here so many times, that we know the exact spot on the balcony to enjoy the sunset views with a bottle of champagne.

A special location to enjoy a sunset view is in Carmel at the Hyatt Carmel Highlands Inn near Big Sur . The best place to enjoy this sunset is at the lounge or restaurant in the Hyatt. The views are truly to be treasured.

A sunset on a cloudy day can be stunning! …the sun outlining the clouds and creating a palette of pastel colors is dreamy! This shot, from the Fairmont San Francisco, was really special! The Fairmont is a fantastic luxury romantic hotel to stay and enjoy. The hotel has an old world charm and beautiful historical lobby that will lend itself to a fabulous stay. The views alone are romantic in of itself!
