Yay, it’s Spring!! The hills are green; butterflies are fluttering by, flowers are blooming…such a beautiful time of year! Now that the rain is gone, hopefully, and it is getting warmer, it is time to get outside and start enjoying this gorgeous time of year! One of my favorite things to do each Spring with the family is visiting The Flower Fields at Carlsbad Ranch In Southern California.

For over 60 years, the The Flower Fields at Carlsbad Ranch have been in bloom! From early March to May is the time of year when the flowers come to life and brighten the 50 acre hill side ranch.

Here are some important facts to know before your visit to the flower fields:

  • Open daily March 1st to May 12th from 9am – 6pm
  • Admission: Adults $18, Seniors 60+ $16, Children 3-10 $9
  • No Pets allowed
  • Parking is free

Located next to the Carlsbad Flower Fields is the Carlsbad Premium Outlets. Over 90 shops, relaxing courtyards, Tuscan-style architecture and beautiful fountains, this is a wonderful place to visit after your time at the flower fields for shopping and a meal! It’s fun to treat ourselves sometimes!!

You have seen the stunning flower fields, shopped till you dropped but you are not wanting to go home…how about turn your day trip into a weekend getaway!
