Snowman World Ice Bar in Rovaniemi, Finland

Elsa may have an ice castle but when you visit Snowman World in Rovaniemi, Finland you can have an ice bar! (Yes, that was a Frozen reference…lol)

Entrance to Snowman World!

Snowman World

Located within Santa Claus Village is Snowman World – the “coolest place on the Arctic Circle!” I love how the website describes their property!

Snowman World is the ultimate winter destination – a frozen world of snow and ice. Feel the fresh winter breeze, have fun in the snow, touch the glittering ice and witness the lucid colours of the Arctic Circle. Get hugged by a friendly snowman and see the wild dance of the Northern Lights.

5StarTip🌟: Since Snowman World has to be rebuilt each and every year the ice carvings are always different!

While there are family fun activities to do there, we went there to experience an ice bar in Rovaniemi!

Ice Bar in Rovaniemi – Cool Experience!

This was such a unique and fun experience! Instead of me telling you about it, enjoy these pictures! They’ll show you how “cool” this place was!

Ice Bar
How could we not visit an ice bar in Rovaniemi!?!
Ice carvings…great music…champagne…dancing mom…doesn’t get much better lol

Of course, when Always5Star is at an ice bar in Rovaniemi, we have to order champagne! We were pleasantly surprised to see that the champagne they were serving was Bollinger!

Bollinger champagne…an Always5Star favorite!

While I love a good glass of champagne, I couldn’t go to an ice bar without having a shot of vodka from Finland! What made it even more fun was their shot glasses are made of ice!

5StarTip🌟: Try the Bilberry vodka! Delicious!

Vodka from Finland
So many flavors!
I took the bartender’s advice and ordered the Bilberry vodka! It was delicious!
I may not look happy to be taking the shot, I promise I was!

Ice Restaurant

While we only visited the ice bar, we took a little stop while exploring Snowman World and checked out the ice restaurant. We would have loved to have time to eat there! For dining info visit here!

Wouldn’t this be an incredible dining experience!?!

Ice Slide

Just when you thought visiting an ice bar in Rovaniemi couldn’t get better, Snowman World has ice slides! You grab an inner tube, walk up to the top of the slide and have the best time sliding down! I was surprised at how fast it was!

Had a blast!

Final Thoughts

If you have the opportunity to visit an ice bar in Rovaniemi, do it! I don’t know about you but I haven’t come across many in my travels and this was definitely a unique and fun experience! Plus getting to hang out there with my mom made it even better! Cheers to you having this cool Always5Star experience!
